Ready for Change: A Report on Climate Change Trainings for Public Health and Emergency Preparedness Sectors in Oregon
- Abstract
In 2011, the Oregon Health Authority, in partnership with the Research Innovation Group, delivered trainings designed to provide an overview of climate change impacts, resulting consequences for public health, and introduce potential tools and resources that build capacity to prepare for change.This document provides a summary of the process and results to enable other communities or states to replicate similar trainings as an introduction to climate change for public health and emergency management.
