Overview of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Impacts of Climate Change
- Abstract
Slides and notes from Dr. Lise Van Susteren’s presentation during the “Building Mental Wellness and Psychosocial Resilience for Climate Change” workshop hosted on June 12, 2017. All the physical impacts of climate change– those affecting us both directly or indirectly –all the losses, injuries, illnesses, displacements – carry with them an attendant emotional toll that must be included as we tally up the mental health and psychosocial impacts of climate change.
