Climate Change: Health Impacts and Opportunities
- Abstract
The most recent report from Working Group 2 of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCCWG2), Climate Change 2014: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability, describes in worrying detail, the current and future impacts of climate change; as well as the challenges we face in mitigating further climate change and adapting to its impacts. This complementary report summarises and interprets over 2600 pages of scientific literature presented by IPCC-WG2, to deliver a concise and robust message about the implications of the report for health.
