Climate Change and Health Position Statement
- Abstract
Anthropogenic climate change is a global public health emergency. It is, at the same time, a major threat and a major opportunity for planetary health and health equity. This document is the first in a series of three Position Statements by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) on climate change and health. It addresses the health impacts of climate change relevant to the RACP’s work in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
