Climate Change and Food Safety

Abstract

This week, the 2015 World Health Day took place on April 7th, focusing on the theme of Food Safety, and included the production of many useful informational resources, accessible here.Following this, we have produced a briefing document which explores some of the main connections between climate change and food safety, including potential increases in food and water-borne diseases such as cholera, algal blooms and nutrition under climate change.
