American Climate Values 2014: insights by racial and ethnic groups

Abstract

The 2014 American Climate Values survey oversampled three American racial and ethnic groups: African, Asian, and Hispanic/Latino Americans to analyze if and how they differ from national averages and each other in how they understand and respond to climate change. In addition to the applicable consensus, demographic, and psychographic findings from this research (see American Climate Values 2014: Psychographic and Demographic Insights), the findings on the following pages are meant to help climate advocates refine strategies for and deepen engagement of certain racial and ethnic groups.
