The purpose of this workshop was to explore how we can find common ground between the research and policy agendas of climate change and health in order to decrease greenhouse gases while improving health outcomes for those populations that are most at risk. Specifically, this workshop aimed to achieve the following objectives: 1) Start a rich conversation about the intersection between health, inequities and climate change; 2) Build relationships by creating an opportunity for different sectors to come together and share perspectives; 3) Identify key questions that require further investigation and collaboration; 4) Discuss opportunities for future action: what strategic next steps can build our capacity to take a more integrated approach to addressing health inequities and climate change?
