Given the current administration’s anti-environment policies, how can we make any progress in the fight against fracking? This webinar will address ways to get involved locally to protect those impacted by fracking’s harms as well as share past successes where health professionals have played pivotal roles and tactics for making a difference.
- Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments promotes healthy people and healthy environments by educating and leading the nursing profession, advancing research, incorporating evidence-based practice and influencing policy.
- Physicians for Social Responsibility Philadelphia promotes social responsibility by protecting health and the environment through education, training, direct service and advocacy.
- Environment America Research & Policy Center investigates problems, crafts solutions, educates the public and decision-makers and helps the public make their voices heard in local, state and national debates over the quality of our environment and our lives.
