Join GW’s Milken Institute School of Public Health and the American Public Health Association (APHA) for a panel discussing the intersection of climate change and public health on Thursday, April 6 at 10 a.m. EDT.

Public health directly impacts the health of our environment. We know climate change is a global issue that affects all of us in different capacities. These changes in climate, largely caused by human activities and behaviors, threaten our health and our livelihoods. We as individuals can either contribute to the problem, or serve as an integral part of the solution.

Explore these issues with us as we celebrate National Public Health Week and the APHA’s Year of Climate Change and Health initiative.

Doors open at 9:30am.

For those unable to join us on campus, we will also be live streaming the event here: http://go.gwu.edu/apha If you have questions for our panelist, please either tweet them to @GWSPHonline before/during the event or email social@publichealthonline.gwu.edu

The event will also be recorded and made available on our website afterwards. More information to follow.
