Physicians for Social Responsibility is organizing a speaking tour by our senior scientist on climate, Alan Lockwood, MD, FAAN, on the occasion of the publication of his new book, Heat Advisory: Protecting Health on a Warming Planet. The book, a complete overview of the health implications of climate change, will be published by MIT Press.
Dr. Lockwood will be touring during September and October in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Florida. He is available to present Grand Rounds and address health and medical audiences; in addition, he is happy to speak at universities, before civic organizations, and to the media.
